MISCELLANEOUS

1) Weapon Bank:  It’s free service for all enrolled shooters. This service is intended for shooters that will do tourism after the match. We will store your gun in the Safe Box of ACSI headquarters, if you require this service please fill the specific box on the form with the required dates. It is recommended to leave your gun in the hotel’s safe boxes during when you are not competing.

 

 

 2) Plane tickets: you can buy or make reservation in the website www.expedia.com

 3) Cell phone:  Costa Rica has a GSM network on the 800/1900 bands any unlocked cell phone on these bands should suffice. You can purchase the prepay Sim Cards on the ICE stand at the Airport.

4) Shooting Range: The match will be held on a range called "Rancho Arizona", strategically located  in Santo Tomas in Santo Domingo of Heredia, 15 minutes from San Jose and 20 minutes from Juan Santa Maria Intl Airport.

 

 

5) Car rental: It’s better to arrange your car rental when you purchase your ticket at your travel agency, however if you decide that you require a car when you arrive, there are several counters located at the airport. During the match days free transportation from Bougainvillea hotel to the shooting range is offered.

 

 

6) Exchange rate: rate is approximately 560 CRC (Costa Rica Colones) per USD.
